Af chefredaktør Victor Andreasen, EKSTRABLADET, den 21. november 1999. Født 18. februar 1920, og død 17. april 2000. Han var cand.polit. og statsansat før avismand.
Han blev chefredaktør i 1958 for Ekstrabladet (EB) og reddede EB og POLITIKKEN fra bladdøden. Han tog afstand fra nazismen og EU. Og han mente, ”at aviserne fortsatte censur-traditionen fra besættelsen” samt bevægede sig langt væk fra almindelige mennesker, men han foragtede også læserne, ”der fik, hvad de ønskede af tomhed og dumhed fra journalisternes side”!
