So, at the airport, you slide your passport in, face down, on the reader. What about these biometric facial recognition cameras there?
How do we know that they’re doing anything at all?
Just because you’re told to look straight ahead and the camera moves up and down, flashes you, then shows a whirling circle on a screen while it pretends to do something or actually does something.
Then the gates open and you’re free.
What’s the evidence that there’s any connection between these events?
I ask because my wife and I returned from France this afternoon. Landed at Heathrow.
We entered adjacent stalls. We did all the same actions.
My camera flashed, whirred, let me through.
Bunny’s didn’t do anything. Let her through.
Immediately afterwards we compared notes. She definitely noticed my camera flash and hers did not. I have the reverse of course. The point is, we were both aware, in the moment, of the discrepancy.
Except the outcome was identical. The gates opened.
A reasonable conclusion is that, on this occasion at least, facial recognition technology played no role in admitting us. In Bunny’s case, she only presented a passport and was admitted.
Others might say “I think you’ll find that they use night vision cameras in some booths!”
Anything is possible.
But here’s my hunch. The system isn’t up & running. It’s presently a hoax.
The authorities never tell the truth when a lie will do.
I love it when I spot inconsistencies. They reveal a clue.
I wouldn’t be faintly surprised if most of this control agenda relies on bluffing.
Recall back in 2021 when we were going to U.S.A. and a lovely Spanish guy recognised me at the check in? He told me that the QR codes on negative “PCR tests” weren’t linked to anything. They didn’t check the data on the form or phone was the same in some database. He said people even created QR codes & photoshopped them into standard test forms. He scanned them and they gave a green tick. The entire system was a big bluff.
Same thing with “vaccine passports”. There wasn’t another baked bean tin with a taught wire going to it. A bluff.
I bet the only thing that works perfectly is the money.
Last example. We often take the fast train to London St Pancras. About a quarter of the time, the paste card tickets with a magnetic strip just stops working. So commonplace is this that London Underground posts an employee at every entry and exit turnstile & then manually open the gate if a ticket doesn’t work. They very rarely look at the ticket. They’ve had decades to make it work and it just isn’t reliable.
I’m not at all sure they can do this. I think they’re relying on us thinking that we’re trapped.
